 Brad has been shortlisted for a lead role in "Wail Away" a quality feature film currently casting and has words of encouragement.
Hi Helen! Just updating you on how things are progressing with my screentest for Wail Away.
The screentest I did with them Saturday fortnight ago was a LOT of fun and challenging, too. The panel were friendly, encouraging and genuinely interested in what I had showed them. It was a new experience, doing a screentest with various improvisation scenarios while keeping in style of the genre and character profile... I liked it and think there should be more of it!

 Congratulations Gillian. My goodness I had no idea that 4 D2A girls would land roles in this major production. There has not been any firm confirmation in regards to Toni Collette being cast as yet, but we will keep our fingers crossed.

 Hello, Just a update been to a few auditions all very exciting. Went for audition with Gold Coast NAPA. Was just happy to have a chance to be part of "Footloose" the musical. So was thrilled when I was offered lead role "Ariel" rehearsals started performance dates in November 2010. Learning a lot from Dare2Auditon site. Thanks again having fun Abby

Just to let you know - Charlotte has spent this past weekend filming a short film by Ben Bryan called "Bookman", which looks fantastic and succesfully auditioned for the lead in another short, advertised on this site, called "Last Caress" which will be filming over this coming weekend, along with rehearsals for a local theatre production, its a busy time and she is loving every minute of it - thanks Helen for your encouragement!

 Its been a long time since I've been in contact with you. hope all is well on your end. I have been very busy, doing as many stage plays as i can, to learn the craft and be in the game of things, Two of the productions I have been doing were sourced from D2A. I played a a cop Det. Barkly In feature film "Jasper", and I played a Vampire in a Stage production "Queen Lara", Feature film trailer just out, and i have just finished with Queen Lara, It was a great success.
I thank you again for your website, for keeping us, active within our craft, through this journey.

 We now have 2 young emerging actors, who auditioned for the World Childrens Theatre, going to the UK to perform.
I am just writing to let you know I have been accepted to go and perform in London at the Royal Albert Hall for the World Children's Theatre Ensemble performance. Thanks so much for having such a great site listed with such amazing opportunities like this one.. without Dare2Audition I never would have had access to an experience like this!

Hailing from Adelaide, South Australia, Rodney made the trek across to play the role of Akram in Taj. Rodney's feature film credits include The Resident Magician, Fever, Hey Hey it's Esther Blueberger and short films including Dead End and Reaon Lies. His TV credits include McLeod's Daughters.

 The following feedback from Cain was in relation to a screentest workshop that we sponsored him to attend.
"Just wanted to let you know how the screen test work shop went for me, i was able to meet several other actors and the winners from the competitions. It was good to see the paradigms of all the actors there, as they were truly diverse in their approach towards their professional careers.
The screen tests were great to really be able to see two different perspectives on how the casting directors approach their auditions".

 A while ago you posted an audition for the QLD area for a Webseries called "The Wilkinses". About 2 weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to star in the second episode of the series, and wanted to let you know that it was incredibly fun, if any of the Queensland actors ever get a chance to work with Tim Kirchler, they'll have a blast!

 I just wanted to let you know that Jacqui has been selected as one of the 4 children for the World Childrens Theatre Ensemble, and we will be going to London in September to perform at the Royal Albert Hall. Jacqui is very excited about this, and we are now in the process of raising the money for airfares, accommodations,etc. I would like to thank you for giving her the opportunity to audition for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

 Quality roles are within your reach. If you continue to train, when top quality roles come along you're prepared. As was the case of Freya Tingley in landing the supporting role in Scab Girl Asylum. You never stop learning, this craft is developed over a period of time. You just need to keep acting! to do this you need to keep auditioning, and to do that you need to be on the ball and have a selection of resources. These enable you audition, and to gain the experience you require, plus a good agent.

Just wanted to let you know I had an audition with Murdoch Uni students for a role in their short movie 'Tricks'.
I am happy to tell you that I was successful in landing the role of 'Leslie'.
It's not a big role and it doesn't pay anything but it gives me extra experience in front of the camera.

Producer of our major feature film casting with A-list actors, has advised he has added a few of our actresses to his shortlist with one in particular being very suitable for this role. She has an excellent American dialect, maturity beyond her years and has impressed the producers. We get a lot of positive feedback regarding our talent screening service, here is what Matt Norman had to say.
